Ifeanyichukwu Anthony Christopher Ibezi, politician, businessman, philanthropist, and community leader is a man of destiny whose leadership qualities were foretold 42 years ago.
Born in 1976 to the family of late Chief Francis Nwafor and Mrs. Caroline Logodokwu Ibezi both of Ezimuku, Agbaja Abatete in Idemili North local Government Area of Anambra State, Ibezi is the fourth boy in a family of seven, five boys, two girls.
He started his primary education in 1982 at New Haven Primary School, Enugu in Enugu North Local Government Area of Enugu State. On completion in 1988, he enrolled in St. Paul’s Secondary School, a Catholic Mission School in Udi, where he did both his junior and senior secondary education. While in secondary school, Ibezi began to manifest leadership traits to the notice of the school authority.
And within two years, in his JSS2 to be precise, he was made the Regulating Prefect of the school on account of these traits and his academic brilliance. A year later, in SS1, he was again appointed the school’s Disciplinarian by the school management. Two years later the school was to alter its tradition of appointing senior prefects. Ibezi became the school’s first arts student to be made the Senior Prefect of the school, an otherwise exclusive preserve of the science students.
During the 1993/94 academic sessions, while still in secondary school, Ibezi gained admission to read Marketing (Major, Purchase & Supply) in the Institute of Management and Technology, IMT, Enugu…
